Android Portfolio App Development

Job ID: 39811308

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need a clean, lightweight Android application that presents my work as a portfolio. The app’s sole focus is showcasing projects, images, and background information in an elegant, scroll-friendly layout that feels instantly familiar to users coming from a typical portfolio website.

Core scope
• Build natively for Android (Java or Kotlin in Android Studio).
• Home, Work/Projects, About Me, and Contact sections that I can update via simple JSON, XML, or another lightweight method you recommend.
• Smooth image handling: crisp thumbnails, tap-to-expand galleries, and graceful fallback when offline.
• Modern UI consistent with current Material Design guidelines, but still flexible enough for me to re-skin colours and fonts later.
• Ready-to-upload APK plus full source code.

Acceptance criteria
– App installs and launches on the current Android OS without crashes.
– All sections load sample content I provide.
– Navigation is intuitive; no dead links or blank screens.
– Code is clearly commented so I can extend it myself.

If you have previous examples of portfolio-style apps, that will help me gauge fit and speed up onboarding. Let me know your estimated timeline for the first test build and any questions about content structure.
