Android Driver Receipt QuickBooks Sync
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I need a straightforward Android application that lets my drivers create a clean, professional-looking service receipt on the spot and push the data straight into QuickBooks via the official API. The flow is simple: a driver opens the app, fills in the service details, captures the customer’s signature on the screen, and taps “Save”. The app then (1) stores a PDF copy locally and in the cloud and (2) posts the transaction to the correct customer account in QuickBooks.
Core data to capture on every receipt
• Start & end time
• Type of service performed
• Customer name
• Date of service
• From / To location
• Signature (on-screen)
Essential features
• Instant PDF export of the completed receipt (with our logo and the signature embedded)
• Seamless QuickBooks Online sync—no manual re-entry
• Offline mode with queued sync when the device reconnects
• Simple, touch-friendly interface tailored for Android phones in the field
Deliverables
1. Full Android Studio project (Kotlin or Java) with clear build instructions
2. Signed APK for testing plus Play-ready bundle for production
3. QuickBooks API keys handled through secure env variables
4. One-page setup guide for updating credentials and branding
5. Source-code level documentation of all classes that touch the QuickBooks SDK
Acceptance criteria
• A receipt created on an Android 13 device appears in QuickBooks within 30 seconds of hitting “Save” when online.
• Generated PDF mirrors the on-screen form exactly, including signature and all captured fields.
• No crashes or data loss after 50 consecutive receipt creations in a single session.
If you have previous experience marrying Android apps with QuickBooks Online, this should be a compact project. I’m ready to supply logo assets and a QuickBooks sandbox account the moment we start.
