Android App for Nubian Club

Job ID: 40385992

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m building an Android-only mobile application that will serve members of our Nubian Club. The core experience should let users create an account (email, phone, or social login), sign in securely, and then:

• Browse upcoming club events, RSVP, and receive reminders through a simple event-scheduling module.
• Log and review participation in regular activities—think step counts, training sessions, or volunteer hours—so members can track personal progress and see club-wide leaderboards if possible.

A clean material-design interface, smooth offline handling, and a lightweight backend (Firebase, Supabase, or an equivalent that you recommend) are preferred. An admin console to add or edit events and pull activity reports will make management easier, but it doesn’t need to be a separate app; a secure web dashboard is fine.

I’m open to using Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or any framework suited to Android as long as performance is solid and future iOS expansion remains practical. Please factor in basic push notifications and in-app messages from day one. Discussion forums are not required now, but the architecture should leave room to plug them in later without a full rewrite.

Deliverables at hand-off:
1. Source code with clear instructions to build and deploy.
2. Tested APK (targeting latest Android version).
3. Simple admin guide covering user management, event creation, and activity export.

Acceptance criteria will be a test build that installs cleanly on my device, registers a new user, schedules a sample event, and records a mock activity session without crashes.

Let’s discuss your proposed tech stack, estimated timeline, and any past work that shows similar features.
