Android App for Fuel Tracking & Automatic Fuel Quantity Extraction from Images

We need an Android app designed for truck drivers to track fuel purchases with the following key features:

Core Features:

• Capture a photo of the fuel pump at refueling
• Automatically extract fuel quantity from the image (AI/ML-based)
• Record geolocation, fuel type, and fuel card details
• Securely store all collected data

Data Comparison & Automation:

• Twice a month, compare app-collected data with Excel reports from the DKV website
• Automatically highlight mismatches in fuel type, quantity, and location
• Minimize manual effort and errors in reconciliation

Additional Feature – Fuel Price Ranking:

• Generate a ranking of countries by average fuel cost (based on internal formulas)
• Send scheduled updates (weekly or biweekly) with fuel price comparisons

Technical Requirements:

• Machine learning model for reading fuel readings from images
• API for storing and retrieving data
