Android App Feature Implementation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My Android mobile application needs a brand-new feature added to the existing codebase. I will supply the current source (Kotlin/Java) and API documentation as soon as we start; your task is to design, code, test, and merge the new functionality while keeping everything else in the app fully operational.
What I expect
• Clean, well-commented code that fits the current architecture (MVVM with Jetpack components).
• Smooth UI integration that matches the app’s present look and feel; if any minor layout tweaks are required to accommodate the feature, please include them.
• Thorough testing—unit and instrumentation—so we avoid regressions before I push the update to Google Play.
• A short change-log and an updated, signed AAB or APK ready for release.
I’ll stay available for quick feedback cycles and can grant access to a staging backend if the feature touches live data. Future phases may cover broader UI/UX refinements and bug fixes, so doing this piece well could open the door to more work together.
Tell me which libraries or tools you plan to use and roughly how long integration and testing will take once you have the repo.
