Android App Development Tutoring
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I want to learn how to build Android mobile apps from absolute zero. At the moment I have no programming background, so I need someone who can walk me through every step—from installing Android Studio all the way to publishing a simple APK.
What I need
• Clear, beginner-friendly explanations of core Android concepts (activities, layouts, intents, basic UI widgets).
• Guidance on either Java or Kotlin (I’m flexible, as long as it’s current industry practice).
• Hands-on exercises during live sessions so I can follow along and immediately test what I’ve learned.
• Short homework tasks between meetings to reinforce each lesson.
Acceptance criteria
By the end of our engagement I should be able to:
1. Set up a working Android Studio environment.
2. Build and run a basic app that displays text, reacts to a button press, and navigates between two screens.
3. Generate a signed APK ready for internal testing.
