Android App Developer (Flutter & Bubble) – Remote (Part-Time, 18 hrs/week)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and patient Android App Developer to join our team and collaborate with our client, who is also a developer but experiences challenges due to dyslexia. This role requires strong communication skills, a supportive attitude, and proficiency in both Flutter and Bubble platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the client to develop, refine, and improve mobile applications.
Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing app performance.
Ensure clear and effective communication to support the client's development process.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Maintain a polite and patient attitude, ensuring smooth collaboration.
Be available to work 3 hours per day (between 2 PM - 5 PM UK time), totaling 18 hours per week.
The client may request daily meetings to monitor their screen, ensuring they are coding correctly and following the right processes.
Requirements
Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for clear communication.
Strong experience in Flutter (Dart) for mobile app development.
Proficiency in Bubble.io for no-code/low-code development.
Good understanding of API integrations, UI/UX principles, and database management.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the client.
Patience and empathy in working with a client who has dyslexia.
Prior experience in remote collaboration and task management.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a mentoring or support role.
Familiarity with accessibility-friendly app development.
Experience with third-party integrations and Firebase.
