Add background functionality to NativeScript app

Job ID: 31286683

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

My dev is developing a NativeScript app (it is actually a port of an existing app for iOS and Android) and he has comes across a requirement I don’t think he has the skill to accomplish by himself.

There is a component in the app in which audio tracks play and various arbitrary processing and animation takes place upon completion of an audio track (including the playing of another audio track).

After releasing the app for internal testing, it was made known to me that this will have to continue to run while the screen is off (in background mode) on both Android and iOS.

I unfortunately am unable to find a sufficient tutorial to implement this functionality in NativeScript. I was hoping you could maybe take a look at my code and see what it would take for you to provide some assistance in implementing this in my app, or maybe in providing a plugin to allow this to be done without changing my code much.
