AOSP Expert - Low Level Android

We are looking for experienced developer to join the work on one of our (VMI) products. The product is based on AOSP project, therefore ou are expected to be able to research Android code base, and to design and implement required features. Naturally C/C++ experience is a must. This is a long term project, however we will start working together on a couple of short term (monthly) missions, and if we see that we work great together, then further cooperation will be considered. Product details will be disclosed upon request.



Skills & Requirements

Experience with AOSP development (C++): Android HAL, System Services
Experience in low-level driver development for Android or Linux
Working knowledge of containerization software (lxc, docker)
Exposure to development life cycle. (E.g. Agile, Scrum and etc.)
Familiar with software version control such as Git

You might also have

Android applications development (Java/Kotlin)
Familiarity with Android frameworks
Knowledge of the Android graphics stack
Ability to use at least one scripting language (Bash/Python)

Responsibilities

Involve in the development cycle including testing, CI and internal documentation
Develop an efficient and reusable code for Android and Linux

Qualifications

3 years+ work experience developing for Android platform
5 years+ work experience in C/C++
