Native Android Social App Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a new social-networking experience and need someone who can own both the native Android code and the complete mobile UI/UX. The app will run only on Android and must be developed natively, so Kotlin or Java inside Android Studio is expected.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Translate my rough sketches and feature list into a full UI/UX flow—from user journeys and wireframes to high-fidelity, Material-You-ready prototypes. Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD is fine as long as the hand-off is clean.
• Code the core social features natively: onboarding, live feed, profile, in-app chat, push-notification settings and a lightweight post editor. Modern architecture (MVVM with Jetpack components, or your preferred clean pattern) and performance optimisation are priorities.
• Provide assets and documentation so everything is easy to maintain and scale.
Acceptance criteria
• Figma (or equivalent) file with all screens, components and interaction notes
• Source code that compiles in the latest stable Android Studio and follows best practices
• A signed AAB/APK ready for internal testing
• Style guide covering colours, typography and spacing
Please include links to any live Play-Store social or messaging apps you have shipped, plus a brief note on how you structure your Android projects. Once we lock the flow, I’d like to see a clickable prototype in 10 days and incremental builds each sprint. Let’s confirm the timeline and milestones and get started.
