Uber-Style Android & iOS App
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I need a complete, ridesharing solution that mirrors the core experience users expect from Uber. The system must cater to both riders and drivers on Android and iOS, sharing a single, stable code-base and a common backend.
For riders, three features are non-negotiable: seamless ride booking from their current GPS position, secure in-app payment integration, and real-time tracking on a live map while the driver is en route. I already have basic screen flows drafted, so you can jump straight into architecture and UI implementation.
The driver side should launch concurrently; we will refine its exact toolset together, but the build needs to leave room for ride request acceptance, earnings stats, and navigation turn-by-turn guidance. Expect to work with location services, push notifications, Google Maps SDK / MapKit, and a mainstream payment gateway such as Stripe or Braintree.
Deliverables (milestone-oriented):
• Fully functional Rider and Driver apps for Android & iOS
• Source-controlled code (Git) plus clean build instructions
• REST or GraphQL backend with authentication and trip management endpoints
• End-to-end testing builds and store-ready release bundles
I value clear, documented code and regular progress demos on TestFlight and Google Play Internal Test, so we can iterate quickly and meet store-compliance from day one.
