Turn GitHub Project Into Android App

Job ID: 40362692

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,000 INR

I have an existing GitHub repository that works well in its current form, and now I need it packaged as a fully functional mobile application for Android. The core logic and assets are already available in the repo; what I’m missing is the Android-specific layer—activities/fragments, UI, permissions, Gradle setup, and anything else needed to publish on the Play Store.

Your task is simple in scope but requires solid Android expertise:

• Clone the repo, study the codebase, and wire it into a standard Android project structure (Kotlin or Java—use whichever fits the code best).
• Build out the necessary UI so every feature that runs in the GitHub project works seamlessly on an Android device.
• Handle all mobile-specific concerns such as runtime permissions, offline handling, and responsive layouts for multiple screen sizes.
• Return a signed release-ready APK plus the updated Android Studio project so I can continue development later.

Acceptance criteria
– App installs on Android 8.0+ without crashes.
– All existing project functions behave identically to the original repo.
– Code is clean, well commented, and follows standard Android conventions.

If you have questions about repository structure or need clarifications before starting, let me know and I’ll respond quickly.
