MX-Style Android Video Player For Android TV, Tablet and mobile

Job ID: 40502959

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need a cross-device video player built for Android TV, tablets, and phones, replicating the complete experience of MX Player. The core must include smooth subtitle rendering (multiple formats, online/offline), responsive gesture-based controls for brightness, volume, and seeking, plus reliable hardware acceleration so even high-bit-rate files play without stutter.

Beyond those headline items, I expect the familiar MX staples—playlist handling, aspect-ratio toggles, background playback, and on-screen codec info—to feel just as polished on all three form factors. A single code-base that detects screen class and adapts its UI is ideal; Jetpack Compose or standard XML layouts are both fine as long as Leanback guidelines are respected on TV.

Because I’d like to move quickly, please be ready to share a short demo or GitHub sample within the first few days so we can lock in the decoding pipeline (ExoPlayer with custom renderers, or your preferred native route). Final deliverables should include:

• Signed release APKs for TV, tablet, and mobile
• Full, well-commented source code and build script
• Brief setup document so my team can compile in Android Studio

Timing is urgent—ASAP—so let me know how soon you can spin up the initial build and what libraries you plan to rely on (ExoPlayer, FFmpeg, MediaCodec, etc.). I’m ready to start immediately and available to test on real devices the moment you have something runnable.
I can invest 5k for this app ...if agreed then only bid else thank you...100% payment will be released after 100% work complition.
