Social Network Website & Android App

I’m building a brand-new social networking platform and need both a responsive website and a native Android app that talk to the same back-end. The core idea is simple: let users sign up, create a profile, connect with others and interact in real time. I’m open to your preferred tech stack—whether that’s React/Next.js with a REST or GraphQL API on the web side and Kotlin, Java or Flutter for Android—as long as the code is clean, documented and easy for another developer to maintain later.

Here’s how I picture the collaboration:

• You’ll design the overall architecture, set up the database and develop the API so data stays perfectly in sync between web and mobile.
• The user interface on both platforms should feel familiar to anyone who has used a modern social app: fast onboarding, profile editing, feed browsing and direct messaging (I’m happy to refine exact features with you once the project starts).
• Push notifications on Android, image upload and basic privacy controls are a must.
• When everything is stable, you’ll deploy the website to my hosting account and deliver a Play Store–ready bundle for review.

Deliverables
1. Production-ready website hosted under my domain
2. Native Android app (APK + AAB) ready for Google Play listing
3. Full source code with README for setup
4. Brief hand-over session or document covering deployment, environment variables and future scaling tips

Acceptance criteria
• I can register, log in, edit a profile and post from both platforms, and the content appears instantly on the other.
• Direct messages send and receive in under three seconds end-to-end.
• No critical errors or crashes during a 30-minute exploratory test on mid-range Android devices.
