I am seeking a high-level Android Developer/Embedded Systems Engineer to build a comprehensive software ecosystem for a specialized, distraction-free handheld device. The project involves creating a custom system-level interface and a suite of integrated, high-performance wellness applications designed specifically for E-Ink (Electronic Paper) displays.
Scope of Work:
• Custom System Environment: Design and develop a lightweight, "locked-down" Android launcher to replace the standard home screen, creating a minimalist, focused user journey.
• Integrated App Development: Build several proprietary applications from scratch, including an optimized audio player and a text/image-based guided exercise interface.
• Hardware-Software Optimization: Implement specialized screen-refresh logic (Partial Refresh/Dithering) to eliminate ghosting and maximize battery efficiency on E-Ink panels.
• System-Level Controls: Create bespoke, high-contrast system menus (Battery, Connectivity, Power Management) styled for a 16-level grayscale environment.

• Android Framework: Deep expertise in the Android SDK, custom Launchers, and SystemUI modification.
• E-Ink/EPD Experience: Proven track record of developing for E-Ink hardware (e.g., Onyx, Boox, or custom tablets). You must understand how to manage refresh rates and high-contrast UI without animations.
• Minimalist Architecture: Ability to write clean, efficient code for low-power ARM processors.
• UI/UX for Grayscale: Strong design sensibility for "Zero-Distraction" interfaces, focusing on typography and iconography over color and motion.
