I am looking for an experienced Meta Quest developer or Android ADB expert to configure a custom operating environment on Meta Quest (preferably Quest 2 or Quest 3). The goal is to lock down the headset so that the user can only access specific applications, including a specific app, while preventing access to any other apps or system settings.
? Project Scope:
✅ Restrict User Access:
* Ensure that once the headset is turned on, the user only has access to approved applications.
* Completely block access to Oculus Home or other system menus.
✅ Disable Oculus Home & System UI:
* Remove or disable Oculus Home UI so users cannot navigate away from the allowed applications.
* Prevent access to Oculus Store, settings, and system notifications.
✅ Custom App Launcher (Instead of Oculus Home):
* Replace the default Oculus Home screen with a custom interface that displays only the approved applications.
* Ensure that the user can only switch between selected apps but cannot access any other system menus.
* Configure the Oculus button to open the custom app menu instead of the default Oculus menu.
✅ Auto-Launch Specific Apps (Upon Startup):
* When the headset is powered on, it should only display the custom app menu with the pre-approved apps.
* Users should not have access to any other applications, system menus, or settings.
✅ Block System Buttons & Prevent Exiting Apps:
* Configure the Oculus button to open only the custom app menu.
* Ensure system buttons (Oculus & others) do not allow access to system menus.
