JP6 Prison Tablet Feature Unlock
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I own a JP6 prison-issue tablet and need an experienced Android developer or reverse-engineer to help me break past the stock JPay limitations. The main goal is to unlock all restricted features so the device behaves like a regular Android tablet. To get there, I will need full root access and a clean, functional operating-system update (a custom ROM or modified stock firmware—whichever proves most stable).
Here’s what I expect when the job is done:
• Root privileges confirmed (su working, persistent after reboot).
• All JPay lock-downs removed so I can install and run any APK, change system settings, and use standard Android services.
• OS upgraded or patched to the latest reliable build you recommend, with no boot loops or loss of basic hardware functions (touch, Wi-Fi, audio, cameras).
• Step-by-step flashing or recovery instructions plus any custom scripts you create, so I can repeat the process if the device is factory-reset.
If you’ve previously worked with JP6, JP5, or other kiosk-style Android devices, mention the tools you rely on (e.g., ADB, fastboot, Magisk, custom recovery) and any precautions specific to the JPay firmware. Security is important; I need the tablet fully usable but not bricked.
Let me know your proposed approach, estimated turnaround, and any test files you will require from my side (boot.img dumps, recovery logs, etc.).
