Offline Bluetooth File Sharing App
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need an Android application that lets one phone push and pull content to another phone, and from a phone to an Android-based TV, entirely over Bluetooth so it works even when there is no internet or Wi-Fi. The app must cope with any files I throw at it—photos, videos, documents, APKs, ZIPs—while giving the user a simple, modern interface to pick, send and receive them. App required for Android TV, Mobile, Tablet etc
Core flow
• Device discovery and pairing happen inside the app, with clear permission prompts that follow Android 9+ requirements.
• After pairing, the sender selects one or many files of any type; the receiver confirms; a progress indicator shows speed, remaining time and success or failure for each item.
• Transfers should resume gracefully if a connection drops and notify both devices (or the TV) on completion.
Technical preferences
I am comfortable with either Kotlin or Java, and the minimum supported version can be as low as API 21, but the build must target the current latest SDK so that Bluetooth, Nearby-Share style permissions and Foreground Service behaviour are fully compliant. If you would like to add an optional fallback such as Wi-Fi Direct for larger files, feel free, but Bluetooth functionality is the priority.

- Signed APK ready for side-loading and a Google-Play-ready AAB
- Full, well-commented source code and build instructions in Android Studio
- Brief README explaining Bluetooth permissions, pairing flow, and how to install on an Android TV
- A short test video or screenshots proving a mobile-to-mobile and mobile-to-TV transfer of a photo, a video and a PDF
Acceptance
I will deem the project complete once I can install the app on two phones and my TV, pair them without extra settings, send the sample files above, and watch them open correctly on the receiving device.
