Project Title: Develop a Simple, Offline, Open-Source NFC Reader/Writer Android App
Project Description:
I need an experienced Android developer to create a very simple, single-purpose APK for reading and writing text to NFC tags. The core philosophy is extreme simplicity—the app should be so easy that a non-technical person that even does not know what NFC is, could use it without instructions.
The app will have only two screens and must work 100% offline. The final code must be open source (MIT or Apache 2.0 License) and delivered as a complete Android Studio project.
Core Features & Requirements:
1. NFC Compatibility: Must read from and write NDEF Text records to all common NFC tag types (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
2. 100% Offline: The app will not require any internet permissions or network connectivity to function.
3. Two Simple Functions:
o Write: Type a text message and write it to an NFC tag.
o Read: Tap a phone to an NFC tag to read the text stored on it.
o Copy: A button to copy the read text to the clipboard for pasting elsewhere.
User Experience (UX) Flow:
The app must have a minimalist, user-friendly interface with only two screens:
Screen 1: Main Screen
• A header: "LoopO NFC Tool"
• A text input field with the hint: "Type text to write here..."
• A large "TAP TO WRITE" button.
• A large "TAP TO READ" button (visually distinct from the write button).
• A bottom status bar that gives simple instructions like "Open the app and tap an option above."
Screen 2: Result Screen
• After Writing: Shows a "Success!" message with the written text and an "OK" button to return home.
• After Reading: Shows the text from the tag in a selectable box, with a "COPY TEXT" button and an "OK" button.
Technical Specifications:
• Language: Kotlin is strongly preferred.
• Android API: Min SDK 21 (Android 5.0) or higher.
• Permissions: Only NFC permission. (Note: If the build process automatically adds INTERNET, it's acceptable, but the app must not use it).
• NFC System: Must use the Android Foreground Dispatch System for a reliable user experience.
• Code Quality: Clean, well-commented, and modular code using best practices (e.g., ViewModel).
