Multi-Vendor Food Ordering App
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m building an Android application that lets customers order food and beverages from multiple independent vendors in a single, streamlined marketplace. Shoppers will sign up or log in with their phone number and a one-time password; I’d like that flow to be quick and secure, with proper verification handling on the backend.
Core experience
• Menu browsing by vendor, add-to-cart, and a smooth checkout that supports in-app payments (credit/debit cards, UPI, wallets—whichever gateway you feel integrates cleanly with Android).
• Real-time order tracking so a customer can follow progress from “accepted” through preparation to delivery, ideally using live status updates or a lightweight map view if feasible.
• Vendor ratings and written reviews to help users choose where to buy next time. Ratings need to post instantly and be visible in each vendor’s profile.
I’ll need both customer-facing and vendor-facing screens, plus a simple admin console to onboard new vendors, edit menus, and view analytics. I’m open to your recommended stack—Firebase, Node.js, or any robust alternative—as long as the code is well-documented and easy to maintain.
Deliverables will include:
1. Full Android source code (Kotlin or Java) ready for Play Store release.
2. Compiled APK for quick testing.
3. Database schema and deployment scripts.
4. Brief developer documentation covering build steps, environment variables, and API endpoints.
If you have previous multi-vendor or food delivery apps in your portfolio, I’d love to see them—it will help me gauge how quickly we can move from prototype to production.
