Match-3 Android Prototype Needed

Job ID: 40011465

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m preparing an investor pitch and need a bare-bones, fully playable match-3 prototype that runs smoothly on Android. Think of the classic drag-and-swap mechanic on an 8×8 board, but stripped to the essentials so we can showcase core gameplay without visual flourishes.

Core gameplay requirements
• 6 distinct geometric-shape “gems” (I’m intentionally avoiding jewels or fruits to keep the look clean and modern).
• Drag-to-swap interaction with immediate match detection.
• Automatic gravity refill after every cleared line or cluster.
• In-game timer, running score, and a simple restart option in the same scene.

Scope boundaries
No animations, sound effects, power-ups, level menus, or extra UI beyond what’s needed to start, play, and restart a round. Visual feedback for matches can be as simple as the pieces disappearing and the score updating.

Deliverables
1. Android Studio / Kotlin or Java source project.
2. Release-ready APK that installs and plays on current Android devices.

Acceptance check
If I can install the APK, complete a timed session, see score increments, and restart without crashes, the milestone is complete.

Keep the code clean and well commented—the build will go straight into a live demo session for potential backers.
