Indian Voice TTS Android App

I’m developing an Android-only text-to-speech application that speaks any typed or pasted text in clear, natural-sounding Indian voices. The app must ship with both a male and a female Indian voice and let the user fine-tune what they hear—rate, pitch, and volume controls are all essential.
Core workflow
• User enters text by typing, pasting, or sharing it from another app.
• They pick a voice (male or female), adjust the sliders, press Play, and listen in real time.
• With one tap the generated speech can be saved as an audio file (MP3 or WAV) directly to the device or shared onward.
Key requirements
• Native Android build (Java or Kotlin in Android Studio).
• Smooth, low-latency playback that works offline once voices are installed.
• Settings remembered between sessions.
• Clean Material-style UI; no heavy graphics—speed and clarity first.
Deliverables
1. Complete Android Studio project with well-commented source.
2. Two high-quality Indian voices packaged or programmatically downloaded on first run.
3. APK ready for internal testing plus a signed AAB for Play Store release.

Acceptance criteria
• Voices sound distinctly male and female, with neutral Indian accent, and intelligibility MOS ≥ 4.0.
