Enhance Existing Android App

Job ID: 40311317

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a fully-functional Android application that now needs a round of improvements. The source is clean and well-structured (Java/Kotlin with a modern Android Studio project), but I’d like to add new features, polish some existing screens, and generally tighten up performance.

Here’s what you’ll find when you open the repo:
• clear MVVM architecture with Retrofit and Room already wired up
• a modest set of unit tests to keep refactors safe

What I need next:
1. Code-level changes that bring fresh functionality while respecting the current architecture.
2. Subtle UI tweaks so the look and feel align with Material 3 guidelines.
3. A quick performance pass—profiling, pinpointing any slow calls, and applying best-practice fixes.

I’ll share a detailed GitHub issue list after we start, including design mock-ups and acceptance criteria for each task. You can work feature-branch style, open pull requests, and I’ll review as we go.

Deliverables
• updated source code in Git (feature branches merged, passing build)
• a signed, release-ready APK for quick testing
• concise change log explaining what changed and why

If you enjoy iterative app enhancement and clean, collaborative commits, let’s get started.
