Enhance Android Calculator, Add Advanced Functions

I built a straightforward Android calculator that shows users their totals by day, week, month and year. It works well, yet my audience keeps asking for deeper math muscle, so I want to fold true advanced features into the existing codebase.
What I need now is a clean, reliable implementation of both financial and statistical calculations. On the financial side, think compound interest, percentage growth, simple loan or discount math—results that still respect a user-chosen timeframe. For statistics, I want the app to deliver mean, median, mode and standard deviation on any list of numbers the user provides.
Everything must fit naturally into the current Material-styled interface, run smoothly on Android 8 and above, and ship with unit tests to verify formula accuracy.
Deliverables
• Updated Android Studio project (Kotlin or Java) with clear, commented code for the new financial and statistical modules
• Any minimal UI additions needed to expose those functions while preserving the existing layout
• A concise README explaining classes, formulas and the test suite
