Custom IPTV Application & Middleware Panel Dev.

Job ID: 40571819

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Project Title:
Senior Android TV / IPTV Developer for Custom Hardcoded App
Job Description:
We are looking for an expert Android TV / IPTV developer to build a custom, white-labeled, hardcoded IPTV application from scratch. This is NOT a generic media player task; the app must be strictly tied to our Xtream UI servers with high-level security protocols and a custom middleware panel.
1. Frontend & UI/UX Requirements (TV-Optimized):
Design Inspiration: The UI architecture should be inspired by premium TV players (e.g., IBO Player layout) featuring large grid tiles, a clear side-menu, and distinct categories for Live TV, Movies, and Series.
Navigation: 100% D-Pad navigation support (Android TV Leanback Library). It must be flawlessly usable with a standard TV remote control.
Performance: Implementation of "Lazy Loading" for VOD posters to ensure smooth performance without RAM crashes on low-end devices like older FireSticks.
2. Backend, Security & Activation (Crucial):
Hardcoded & Obfuscated: Our Xtream UI DNS/API must be hardcoded, encrypted, and heavily obfuscated to prevent reverse engineering or packet sniffing.
Device Binding (Anti-Spoofing): Activation will be based on the user's MAC Address. However, to prevent MAC Spoofing, you must implement a "Hardware Fingerprint" (MAC Address + Android ID + Device Serial Number). If the MAC is cloned to another device, the server must reject it.
3. Middleware / Admin Panel:
A lightweight web-based admin dashboard to manage users.
Features: Activate/Deactivate devices via the Hardware Fingerprint, view active users, send on-screen messages to TVs, and a feature to "Remotely Update DNS" for all apps without pushing a new APK.
Deliverables:
Fully functional APK (Android TV / Mobile / FireStick compatible).
The Middleware Web Panel.
Full Source Code and documentation upon project completion.
Screening Questions (Please answer to be considered):
How do you plan to obfuscate the hardcoded DNS to prevent extraction?
Explain briefly how you will implement the Device Fingerprint (Hardware Binding) in Android.
Can you share screenshots or videos of previous Android TV UIs you have developed?
