CBSE Video Lectures App
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I teach Classes 9 and 10 under the CBSE board and want to package my recorded lessons into a dedicated Android application. The app’s single, non-negotiable focus is video lectures: students must be able to open the app, select a chapter or topic, and start watching immediately. Because the content is organised strictly by Chapter/Topic, navigation has to be crystal-clear—no hunting through long menus.
Live classes, quizzes, or discussion forums are not needed in this first release, but please structure the code so I can add them later without tearing everything apart. A light, school-friendly interface, smooth streaming, and “resume from last position” will keep usability high.
Deliverables
• Release-ready APK plus complete Android Studio source
• Clean UI branded with my logo and a chapter/topic hierarchy that matches the CBSE syllabus
• Backend or cloud storage setup (Firebase, AWS, or unlisted YouTube—suggest what fits best) with written steps so I can add or edit lectures myself
• Optional but appreciated: basic analytics on video views
Acceptance criteria
1. A student reaches a playable lecture in three taps or fewer.
2. Video begins within three seconds on a standard 4G connection.
3. Chapter/topic list is available offline; videos may stream.
4. App installs and runs crash-free on Android 8.0 and above.
A two-week turnaround would be ideal. Please include links to any education or media apps you’ve shipped and a brief outline of the tech stack you propose so we can move quickly.
