Build Android E-Commerce App
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need an e-commerce application built specifically for Android. The very first release must focus on rock-solid user authentication so new shoppers can register, sign in, and manage their basic profile. I am open to Kotlin or Java, however the project should follow current Android Studio best practices (MVVM, Jetpack components, Material 3 where it makes sense).
While Shopping Cart and Payment Integration are not part of this initial scope, please design the architecture so those modules can slot in later without a major refactor. Clear separation of UI, data, and domain layers will be important.
Deliverables
• Full Android Studio project with readable, well-commented source code
• Secure authentication flow (email/password and optionally Google Sign-In using Firebase Auth or a comparable solution)
• Simple, responsive screens: splash, sign-up/in, password reset, profile
• README covering build steps, key libraries, and how to extend the project for future cart and payment features
• Signed APK/AAB ready for internal testing
Acceptance criteria
1. New user can create an account, receive verification mail, and log in.
2. Returning user stays authenticated until sign-out.
3. Code passes a basic lint check and compiles with no warnings on the latest stable SDK.
If this foundation meets the requirements, we will move on to shopping cart and checkout in subsequent milestones.
