Bluetooth DDS Generator App

Job ID: 39952917

Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR

I already have a Juntek JDS-2900 signal generator wired to an HC-05 module over TTL. What I am missing is an Android application that talks to the HC-05, lets me adjust frequency, and sends a clean Start / Stop command—all through a set of straightforward on-screen buttons.

Stage 1 – Generator control
• Establish a reliable Bluetooth SPP link to the HC-05.
• A minimalist interface with the database of frequency protocols and three main buttons (Start, Stop and Pause) and a frequency input that pushes the new value to the generator instantly.
• Confirmed compatibility with Android 8+ phones and tablets.

Stage 2 – EMG overlay
Once the controller is stable, I want to plug an EMG sensor into the same app workflow. The goal is to read muscle-tension data in real time in a reaction on frequencies from DDS generator and plot it on a scrolling graph next to the generator controls, then optionally save the session to CSV for later review.

Acceptance check (for both stages)
• Source code delivered in Android Studio format, Kotlin or Java.
• APK that installs and performs the tasks above on my test device.
• Short README covering Bluetooth command structure used and any sensor libraries added.

If you have experience with Bluetooth SPP, simple UI on Android, and real-time charting libraries such as MPAndroidChart, your input will get this project moving quickly.
