Autism App Upgrade: Connectivity & Functionality Enhancements

Project: Enhancement of Autism Communication Mobile App (Parent & Child)

We have an existing communication mobile app designed for parents and children with autism.

Platform: Android
Development Environment: Android Studio
Language: Kotlin

Child Device OS: Android 8 (specific model — app must fit this screen perfectly)

Current Parent App Features
Manage child profiles
Add new pictures
Tag each image with an audio recording
Requires both parent and child devices to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network

Enhancements Required
Change connectivity from Wi-Fi to Bluetooth
Implement pre-set database (option to upload or take images on the spot)
Remove the long pause for blanks during audio playback
Allow the app to function even if only one language is uploaded (currently requires uploading all four: English, Tamil, Mandarin, Malay)
Optimize Child App to fit perfectly on the specific Android device’s screen
Add link-sharing feature for the parent app to share the pre-set database of images/recordings with the child device

Scope of Work
Deliver a working APK for both Parent and Child apps
Provide updated documentation
