Android UART EQ Link Integration

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a reliable UART-based EQ link between a Texas Instruments chipset and an Android device. The goal is straightforward: move data in both directions so my custom Android app can issue real-time control commands and, when required, push or pull compressed audio signals over the same line.

Your job is to deliver the Android-side software stack—driver layer, JNI/NDK bridge if necessary, and Java/Kotlin interface—so I can drop the library into my existing project and start talking to the TI part immediately. The link must handle baud-rate negotiation, framing, CRC, and graceful recovery from line noise.

For proof, you’ll provide:
• Source code and a sample APK that opens the port, sends a command packet, and plays back a short audio frame returned by the chipset.
• A README outlining build steps and any TI or Android permissions tweaks.
• A quick video (or live session) showing the exchange running on real hardware; a TI evaluation board is fine.

If you’ve worked with TI serial protocols, Android USB-to-UART bridges, or similar embedded comms, that experience will help us hit the ground running.
