Android Taxi App Development
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need an end-to-end taxi application built exclusively for Android. The system must cater to three distinct user groups—Passengers, Drivers, and Administrators—so each role will require its own sign-in flow and feature set. Core functionality includes ride booking, real-time GPS navigation with live driver tracking, and secure in-app payment processing.
Kotlin or Java with the latest Android SDK is preferred, and I expect Google Maps (or a comparable mapping SDK) to power the navigation layer. For payments, feel free to recommend a proven gateway—Stripe, Braintree, or another PCI-compliant option—so long as it supports card tokenization and handles local currency.
Because Administrators also need to oversee trips, fares, and user accounts, a lightweight back-office interface or API endpoints that plug into a simple web dashboard will be part of the scope.
Deliverables (all source-controlled):
• Passenger, Driver, and Admin Android modules (APK + source)
• REST or GraphQL backend with documentation
• Payment gateway integration keys set up in test mode
• One-click build/run instructions and short video walkthrough
Acceptance is complete when I can install the app on a stock Android 10+ device, register as each role, book a ride end-to-end, watch live navigation, and settle the fare through the integrated payment screen while an admin user views the transaction in the dashboard.
