Android Status Display App for TCP/IP Server

Project Title: Simple Android App to Retrieve & Display Status from TCP/IP Server

Description:
I’m looking for an experienced Android developer to create a simple yet reliable app that connects to my existing TCP/IP server (server already running) and retrieves a boolean status — Locked / Unlocked — and displays it in a clear, visually prominent way.

Key Features:

Server Connection & Settings

Ability to connect to a TCP/IP server via a user-specified IP address.

A settings button to enter or update the IP address.

Status Display

Fetch the boolean status from the server and show it big and bold on the main screen.

Clear color-coded display:

Green for "Locked"

Red for "Unlocked"

Login & Security

A login screen that supports:

Username & password (fixed credentials, stored locally — no server authentication required)

OR fingerprint authentication (if available on device)

Other Requirements

Clean, minimal UI with high visibility.

Fully functional APK + complete source code with documentation.

Deliverables:

APK ready to install and test.

Well-structured, documented source code.

Notes:

TCP/IP protocol details will be provided.

Credentials will be fixed in the app and stored locally.
