Android Social Networking App Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
“Inakkkkkkkkkk” is the working name for a brand-new social networking experience that I want to launch first on Android. I already have the core concept mapped out at a high level; what I now need is a developer (or small team) who can guide the idea through design, coding, testing, and publication on Google Play.
Here’s what I’m aiming for
• A modern Android-native application built with the current stable Android SDK and Kotlin (Java only if you feel strongly).
• Clean, responsive UI that feels familiar to social-media users yet distinctive to the brand.
• Foundational social features—user sign-up/login, profile creation, posting, feeds, and real-time interactions—implemented securely and scalably.
• Cloud-based backend (Firebase, Supabase, AWS, or another sensible option) with straightforward documentation so I can maintain or extend it later.
• An MVP delivered in an installable APK plus complete, well-commented source code stored in a private Git repo.
Acceptance criteria
1. App installs and launches on current Android versions without errors.
2. Core social flows (register, create profile, post, view others’ posts) function end-to-end.
3. Code passes linting and includes clear README and environment setup notes.
4. Google Play submission assets (screenshots, listing text) prepared and ready for my review.
I’m ready to discuss timelines, milestone structure, and any libraries or UI kits you prefer as soon as you signal interest. If you’ve shipped Android social apps before, please highlight one or two links along with a short description of your specific role on those projects.
