Android Social Media App Development

I’m planning a full-featured social media application built specifically for Android. The job covers everything from refining the concept through publishing the first live release on Google Play.

The core experience should let users create profiles, share posts (images, text, short videos), follow other members, scroll an infinite feed, and exchange real-time messages or comments. A clean Material-You design, smooth scrolling, and offline caching for poor connections are priorities because I want the app to feel lightweight yet engaging.

You’ll handle:
• UI/UX mock-ups and interactive prototypes
• Native Kotlin code in Android Studio with modern architecture (MVVM, Jetpack, Coroutines)
• Secure backend APIs (Firebase or another scalable option) including authentication, media storage, and push notifications
• Basic admin dashboard for content moderation
• Testing, performance optimisation, and Play Store deployment assets

Acceptance criteria:
1. Build installs flawlessly on Android 11+ without crashes.
2. Feed loads in <1 s on a 4G connection.
3. Source code, build instructions, and API keys are delivered in a private repo.
4. App passes Google Play review and is published to an internal test track.
