Android Social Community App Build
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have an idea for a dedicated social-media style community app and I want it built natively for Android. The core goal is to let users sign up, create and browse posts, follow or connect with other members, and interact through comments or reactions—essentially the familiar social-network experience but tuned to our niche concept.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A clean, modern Android interface developed in Kotlin (or Java if you strongly prefer), built with Android Studio and following current Material Design guidelines.
• A lightweight, scalable backend—Firebase is fine, but I’m open to another stack if you can justify the choice—that handles authentication, real-time data sync for feeds and profiles, and basic push notifications.
• Source code that is well-commented and organised, plus a brief README so I can compile and run the project locally without guesswork.
• An APK or bundle ready for Play Store submission, including all required assets and signing instructions.
We can refine feature depth together, but I expect the MVP to cover account creation/login, posting (text and image), feed display, likes or similar reactions, and basic user search/follow. Security, smooth performance on common Android devices, and an intuitive UX are priorities.
If this sounds like a clear fit for your skills, tell me how you plan to structure the project and roughly how long you need for the first deliverable.
