Android Photobooth Vending Software
Budget: ₹1,000 – ₹4,000 INR
I’m building a standalone photo-booth kiosk that will run on an Android tablet and drive a small dye-sub printer. The software must launch directly into a full-screen, touchscreen interface where visitors can tap “Start”, see a live camera preview, snap their shots, apply a few fun but lightweight filters (think classic B&W, sepia, warm tone), then either print instantly, share the digital copy online, or do both.
Core flow I need
• One-tap photo capture with a clear countdown overlay
• Automatic compilation of a single photo or a 2 × 2 strip, saved locally in a dated folder
• Seamless connection to the kiosk printer—no dialogs, just print on confirmation
• Optional share screen that posts straight to email or popular social platforms if the device has connectivity
Everything must be optimized for touch; no hardware buttons will be available. I’ll supply the printer model and sample artwork for the start screen once we begin.
Deliverables
1. Signed APK plus full, well-commented Android Studio (Kotlin or Java) project
2. Simple JSON or XML config file where I can change countdown length, filter list, and default print copies
3. Short setup guide explaining how to point the build to a different printer and how to add a new filter preset
Acceptance is straightforward: if I can install the APK on a stock Android 10 tablet, run through the capture-filter-print-share cycle without crashes, and tweak the config file successfully, we’re done.
