Android “Near Hero” App Build

I’m building an Android-only application called Near Hero and need a developer who can take it from concept to a polished first release on Google Play.

Core scope
• Account system with secure sign-up, login, and editable user profiles
• Fast, reliable in-app messaging between users (text, emojis, image attachments) that remains responsive even on spotty mobile networks

What I already have: the brand name, rough wireframes, and a feature priority list. What I need from you: clean Kotlin-based code, a lightweight backend/API of your choice (Firebase, Supabase, or a framework you’re comfortable with), and guidance on publishing so the final APK meets current Play Store requirements (target SDK, privacy labels, adaptive icons, etc.).

I’ll share UI mock-ups and a short user-flow video as soon as we begin. Please include links to one or two Android apps you’ve shipped that show solid use of profiles and chat; a quick note on which backend you’d propose will help speed up selection.
