Android MVP Delivery Booking App
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I’m ready to build the first, lean version of a hyper-local delivery service—think Porter, but stripped down to the essentials so we can launch quickly, test the market, and iterate fast.
Scope of this MVP
• Android only (one polished APK is enough for now).
• Two roles: customers create bookings and drivers accept them from their own login.
• Core features:
– Customers pick vehicle type, schedule or request an immediate pickup, and confirm the job.
– Live GPS tracking so both sides can watch the delivery in real time.
• Simple, clean interface; no payment gateway yet, but the architecture should leave room to drop one in later.
What I need from you
1. Full Android source code (Kotlin or Java) with clear, well-commented architecture—MVVM or similar preferred.
2. Lightweight backend (Firebase, Supabase, or a small Node/Express service with REST/GraphQL) handling auth, booking workflow, and socket or Firebase Realtime updates for location.
3. Driver location updates at regular intervals with battery-friendly practices.
4. A brief hand-off document: build/run instructions, environment variables, and API endpoints.
Acceptance criteria
• Customer can create, schedule, and cancel a delivery.
• Driver can view nearby requests and accept one; status updates propagate instantly.
• Map screen shows live movement of the driver pin for both roles.
• APK installs and runs on Android 8.0+.
