Android Live TV Streaming App
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am looking for an experienced Android app developer to build a robust and high-performing Live TV streaming application. I currently manage web-based streaming platforms and want to expand the experience into a dedicated Android mobile application.
The application should seamlessly handle live video feeds, including a wide range of regional (Indian) and international television channels.
Key Features & Requirements:
User Authentication: A secure user registration and login system (e.g., Email/Password, Google Sign-In, or OTP) allowing users to create accounts, manage their profiles, and save their preferences.
Advanced Video Player: Integration of a powerful native or custom video player (like ExoPlayer) that smoothly supports HLS (.m3u8) streaming protocols.
Channel Categorization: A well-organized UI that categorizes channels by region (Indian, International), language, and genre (News, Entertainment, Sports, etc.).
Backend Integration: The app must fetch channel lists, categories, and streaming URLs dynamically from my existing backend/server API.
Security & Protection: Support for token-based authentication, user-agent verification, or referrer restrictions to protect the streaming links from being scraped or played outside the app.
User Interface (UI/UX): A clean, modern, and intuitive dark-themed UI suitable for media consumption, including a search function and a favorites list.
Screen Casting: (Optional but preferred) Integration of Chromecast support so users can cast channels directly to their Smart TVs.
