Android OS-Level App Development

Job ID: 40537971

Budget: $300 – $1,000 USD

I’m looking for a developer who can create a mobile application that runs exclusively on Android and works at, or very close to, the operating-system level. The goal is to deliver functionality that feels native and integrates tightly with core Android services rather than behaving like a typical sandboxed app.

You should already be comfortable digging into Android Studio, Kotlin or Java, and, when necessary, the AOSP layer to hook into system events and background services. Experience with custom ROMs, device administration APIs, or low-level permission handling will be a plus because the solution may need to interact directly with system settings and persist through reboots.

What I need from you:
• A fully functional Android package (APK or AAB) that demonstrates the required operating-system-oriented behaviour
• Clean, well-commented source code pushed to a private Git repository in incremental commits
• A concise README that explains build steps, permissions requested, and how the app achieves its OS-level integration

I’ll be available throughout the build to clarify requirements and test interim versions on physical devices. Let me know if you have tackled similar projects and which specific system-level features you have worked with before.
