Android GPS Watermark Camera App

Job ID: 40409083

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m building a simple camera application for Android that automatically stamps every capture with live GPS data. Each photo or video must carry three elements in the watermark: the exact latitude-longitude coordinates, the human-readable location name, and the capture timestamp. The watermark needs to appear on both still images and recorded videos.

To make the tool practical in the field, I also need a small set of user controls: users must be able to pick the font and colour, tweak the transparency, and move the watermark to any corner of the frame before shooting. The settings should stay persistent between sessions.

A clean, native implementation is preferred—Kotlin or Java in Android Studio is fine—as long as you use reliable location services and respect runtime permission flows. The final package should include:

• Release-ready APK
• Full, well-commented source code that compiles in the latest stable Android Studio
• A short README that explains build steps, key classes, and how to extend the watermark logic

I’ll consider the job complete once I can install the APK on a recent device, toggle the customisation options, and see accurate GPS-based watermarks on freshly captured photos and videos without glitches.
