Android Football Scores App
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am building a lightweight football companion and need the full Android Studio project that shows live scores and a table-style schedule pulled from a public or low-cost football API. The app’s core screens are simple: one for real-time scores (auto-refreshing or swipe-to-refresh) and another that lists upcoming and past fixtures in a neat table view for quick scanning.
I have not locked the project to a specific competition, so keep the code flexible enough that I can later point the API calls to any league—Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga or others—by changing a constant or two.
Use standard Android patterns (MVVM, Retrofit/Volley, Room if local caching helps) and stick to clean Material-3 components so the UI already feels polished even before I add artwork. Target Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and up.
Deliverables
• Complete Android Studio project with all source files
• Clear README explaining API setup, where to swap the key or base URL, and how to add leagues
• Brief note on refresh intervals and any rate-limit considerations
