Android E-Commerce App Development
Budget: ₹750 – ₹24,000 INR
I need an Android specialist to turn our product feed into a polished e-commerce application that runs smoothly on current Android devices. The build centers on three core capabilities:
• Product catalog that can display items, categories, images, and pricing pulled from our existing API.
• A shopping cart that persists locally so users can add, remove, and edit quantities throughout their session.
• Secure payment-gateway integration for checkout—users will complete purchases as guests, so no account screens or registration flows are required.
Kotlin is preferred, but well-structured Java is acceptable if you can demonstrate maintainability with MVVM or a similar architecture component approach. Material Design guidelines should inform the UI; I will share brand colours, fonts, and sample screens once we start.
I will provide REST endpoints and product imagery. Your job is to wire the data layer, implement the above features, and package a production-ready APK plus documented source code. Automated unit tests around cart logic and payment callbacks will be part of the hand-off criteria.
