Android E-Commerce App Development

I’m kicking off the build of a dedicated Android e-commerce application and need a developer who can take the idea from concept to a live listing on Google Play. The core of the project is a smooth shopping experience: browsing products, adding items to a cart, completing a secure checkout, and tracking orders within the app.

Here’s the workflow I have in mind: you’ll help refine the UX, develop the front-end in Kotlin or Java using Android Studio, hook in a reliable backend (Firebase, REST API, or a stack you propose), set up push notifications, and integrate at least one major payment gateway. Admin functions—adding products, updating prices, managing stock—should be accessible through a lightweight dashboard or an existing e-commerce backend you can tie in.

Deliverables
• Full Android Studio project with well-commented source code
• Signed release APK ready for submission to Google Play
• Brief deployment guide and handover call

Acceptance criteria
• Smooth navigation and load times on current Android OS versions
• All checkout steps encrypted and PCI-compliant
• Successful end-to-end purchase flow in test mode and production mode
