Android Chat App with Images
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m building a personal Android chat application and want it to feel as slick and effortless as today’s social stand-outs such as TikTok or Tinder. The heart of the product is real-time, one-to-one text messaging, with the added ability for users to attach and send images—no video or other media necessary.
Clean, modern UI/UX is key: smooth transitions, quick loading avatars, and an intuitive message screen that echoes the polish of those reference apps. I’m open to the tech stack you’re most comfortable with, though a Firebase (Firestore + Storage) or similarly lightweight real-time backend would suit the scale of this project well.
Please include in your proposal:
• A concise outline of the architecture you’d choose (language—Kotlin or Java, realtime backend, image handling).
• Examples or short clips of previous Android chat interfaces you’ve shipped.
• An estimated timeline for an MVP that covers login/registration, profile editing, live text chat, image upload/display, and push notifications.
Deliverables at hand-off:
1. Full Android Studio project with well-commented source code.
2. Compiled APK ready for side-loading.
3. Brief setup document so I can run, build, and extend the project myself.
