Capacitor/Vue Mobile App Bug Fix – Input Field Hidden by Keyboard on Android 15
Hey! We’re looking for someone who knows their way around Capacitor (and preferably Vue) to help us squash a super annoying bug.
What’s happening:
After updating to Android 15, the keyboard now covers input fields in our app. Users can’t see what they’re typing, which is… not great.
What we need:
• A fix that makes sure input fields scroll into view when the keyboard opens
• It should work nicely across different screen sizes and Android devices
• No clunky workarounds - we’d like something clean and reliable
Our stack:
• Capacitor (v4+)
• Vue 3 + Composition API
• Vuetify for UI
Bonus points if:
• You’ve run into this Android 15 bug before
• You know how to tweak native Android settings (like AndroidManifest.xml or windowSoftInputMode)
• You’re friendly and can explain what you’re doing so we learn something too
