Android Beta Performance Testing

Job ID: 40511599

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

My Android app is sitting at a stable beta stage and now I need hard numbers on how it really performs in the wild. The focus is strictly on performance testing—specifically, I want clear insights into load-time behaviour and network efficiency across a range of devices and connection types. Battery usage can stay on the bench for this round.

You’ll install the current beta (APK + ProGuard mapping provided), design meaningful test scenarios, then capture and interpret metrics with tools such as Android Profiler, Firebase Performance, or any other stack you’re comfortable with. Raw data is only half the job; I also need concise, prioritised recommendations that my dev team can act on quickly.

Once we’ve implemented the agreed fixes, I would value your help preparing the release build and walking me through the steps for a smooth deployment to Google Play (closed or open track, whichever makes sense).

Deliverables:
• Benchmark report detailing cold-start times, in-app load timings, and network throughput/latency under varied conditions
• Video or log evidence of any major bottlenecks reproduced
• Actionable optimisation checklist ranked by impact and effort
• A verified, release-ready APK/AAB plus a quick Play Console hand-off session

Acceptance criteria:
All reported metrics must be reproducible using the test plan you provide, and any suggested optimisations must clearly link back to the specific bottleneck they tackle.

If this sounds within your wheelhouse, let’s get the beta running at full speed and into the store.
