Android App UI Revamp
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
My current Android application works, but the user interface lags behind modern Material Design standards. I have the entire project in Android Studio and I want the experience to feel smoother, clearer, and more engaging.
Scope of work
• Navigation menu – redesign its layout, make it fluid on every screen size and orientation, and ensure TalkBack users can move through items naturally and hear meaningful labels.
• Home screen – refresh the colour scheme so it is on-brand, reorganise the widgets/cards for quicker scanning, and add subtle interactive elements (e.g., animated buttons or swipeable cards) that do not hurt performance.
• Form elements – polish every input field, dropdown, and validation message to keep them consistent with Material 3 components and fully responsive.
Acceptance criteria
1. No UI element should overflow, clip, or shift unexpectedly from API 24 up to the latest version.
2. Navigation drawer and bottom-nav respond in under 100 ms on mid-range hardware.
3. All dynamic content passes an a11y audit (minimum WCAG AA contrast, focus order, and proper content descriptions).
4. Build compiles cleanly in Android Studio Flamingo or newer with no new warnings.
