Android App Firebase Integration
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have an Android mobile application that now needs a live back-end. Your task is to wire the app to Firebase, create the database structure, and make sure the code cleanly reads and writes the information I care about—specifically user information (profile details, credentials, preferences) and usage logs (screen views, feature taps, timestamps).
The work includes:
• Designing the correct Firebase Realtime Database or Firestore schema for those two data sets
• Integrating Firebase Auth if required for secure user identification
• Implementing the Android-side code (Java or Kotlin, whichever matches best) that creates, updates, and queries the records
• Verifying that read/write operations are secure and respect Firebase rules
• Providing a brief setup note so I can reproduce the configuration in future builds
Acceptance criteria: the current build of the app runs on an emulator or device, saves a sample user profile, appends at least one usage log, and retrieves both without errors.
If you are comfortable with Android Studio, Firebase console, and security rules, this should be a straightforward hand-off.
