Android App Developer (ESP32 Wireless UI for a Service Robot)
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
Please reply with a personal reply and not AI. Also explain little how to do this for me a non-programmer.
We need an experienced Android developer to build a tablet app that acts as a wireless UI for our service robot’s ESP32 mainboard.
First task in very short terms:
Connectivity: Scan robot QR code via tablet camera, connect over Wi-Fi, display verified ID with green status.
Setup Page: Read/write variables stored on ESP32, easily expandable for more parameters.
Position Management: Three JOG “pulse wheels” (0.25 mm, 1 mm, 10 mm) with lock switches (OFF by default/reset on exit), plus buttons to move forward/back to home-points.
Requirements:
Proven Android app experience (Java/Kotlin).
ESP32 communication over Wi-Fi (TCP/WebSocket/REST).
Custom control UI experience.
